  4. This year the IMF (International Monetary Fund) is trying to help with the economic crisis in Turkey. The IMF is giving money to the goverment and the goverment gives money to work places, industries, to banks and other counteries. So the goverment and the IMF work together. But after that the goverment is giving the money back, but with interest. So people are giving more money through taxes and they are taking less money but the money goes to the IMF.

My issue is the issue that the best telescope in the world called Hubble telescope has been broken. So NASA is tying to deal with this issue. They had many more ideas to solve this problem but they have chosen this way to deal with it: The way they are dealing with is that they have sent some astronauts to space to put new gyroscope to make it work again.

The latest G20 summit that was held in London UK which Turkey's Prime Minister joined decided to pump 1 trillion dollars to the world economy through the IMF.

On June 4, 2007 The Tasmanian and Commonwealth governments agreed to fully supply the plan.WWF is also supporting . Before starting to kill them it was important to plan it quickly so that work can start by winter 2009.

I think the most rabbits should get sold to other countries and some should stay .This way they can gain money and get rid of the rabbits

  17. STARO(Save the Amazon Rainforest Organisation) is a organization that is trying help with this problem. They think:

The tropical rainforests of the world are under threat. They are being destroyed at the rate of 6 million hectares per year -- that's an area the size of a football pitch every four seconds. Imagine that, while you're reading this sentence, a football pitch patch of rainforest has disappeared.
If we continue this rate of destruction, within several generations, the largest rainforest in the world -- the Amazon -- will be gone. And with it, the source of much potential medicine, biodiversity and a massive carbon sink that acts as the lungs of the world. If we lose that, we lose the fight against catastrophic climate change.

    Their goals:
STARO raises money for projects that are sustainable within the rainforest: enabling indigenous people to remain in the forest and stopping the march of illegal logging and slash and burn.

    Their latest solution:
In their latest project, they have a campiagn called 'BUY THE BEES', which buys stingless bees for local people to make honey, that they can sell. This helps because people mostly only want the money behind the job. This helps a bit.

    ------------------------------------------------
Basicly the STARO is aware of this problem and is trying to help it by. They are making different campaigns to support and conserve the rainforest.

    Also check this out:
    COOLAWORLD
STARO are delighted to announce that they are one of 6 charities and projects chosen by Coolaworld, which is a planet-saving shopping and carbon coaching website launched recently in the UK.
Just like wind, water and sunshine can be harnessed to create cleaner, sustainable energy; the billions of pounds spent shopping on the Internet every year can be converted into planet-saving projects at the click of a mouse.
With over a hundred household names and retailers to choose from, including APPLE, HARRODS, EUROSTAR, JOHN LEWIS, VODAFONE and NEXT, COOLAWORLD rewards online shoppers with COOL CREDITS that they can donate to STARO or spend on low-carbon goods and services.
The innovative portal, which uses technology similar to that used by AIRMILES and NECTAR POINTS, also has free guidelines for people who want to "cool" the CO2 emissions. Alternatively, people can use their COOL CREDITS to buy low-carbon products such as digital music and video, or to buy online magazines; the idea being to gradually change their behaviour without turning them off the notion of low-carbon living.

Please try to find some cool stuff to buy here to help conserve the rainforest!:

  20. African Kids

The problem in Africa is that they are poor and they dont have doctors, and to get doctors, you need a good education. Now, many donations are helping Africa get money to build schools and hospitals, hire teachers and doctors. Like Yellow fevers, if you had the right vaccine and proper medication, you would be cured. The main donating charity is UNICEF.

Unicef donates money to many countries in the world like Pakistan, etc and they also donate alot to Africa. First step they do is to give the most well education to kids and help survival(food, home, etc). They do this by sending volunteers to the country and build homes, bring food for people to live in and eat. In africa, volunteers from many different countries go to Africa and teach kids, build houses and give medical support to the people.
They also teach life skills, so the kids can live properly after they leave the country.

They provide food everyday by airplanes, helicopters and same to medical stuff.

They also have orphans to get them clothes.

About 2680 people die in Africa every day of age below 5.

  21. The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) is trying to stop animal smuggling by working with governments in many countries. Some of the countries they are working with are Poland, Russia, Indonesia, China and many other countries. The WWF helps countries create a list of exotic animals so the country knows which animals are going extinct. They also collect money from people that want to save exotic animals; with that money they buy more land for the animals.

  23. Professor Chris D Thomas
(Department of Biology University of York)

Professor Chris D Thomas is one of the many people around the world that is working on many, many ways to help or even solve this problem, about animals going extinct because of human behavior. He is a biologist at the university of York. He has written a lot of articles about ways to help animals. One of the many famous articles he wrote is called, “One million species extinct by 2050” In this article, he explains many reasons why animals are becoming extinct and how he feels about this. In all of his articles he really tries to reach out to people and show the, that animals have the same rights as we humans do. The way that Professor Chris D Thomas is trying to solve this problem is by researching about this animals and why exactly they are going extinct. Then when he finds out the true reason, he starts to write articles to inspire people to care about these problems and want to help. I think this is a great way to solve this problem because if everyone realized exactly what the human race is doing to animals, I’m sure they would all try and stop this.

  24. Solving this Problem
The association solving working with this problem is known as Association for Supporting Contemporary Life (Çağdaş Yaşamı Destekleme Derneği). The aim of this association is to give scholarship to at least one-hundred-thousand girls in Turkey's rural areas. It has already funded for over thirty-six-thousand children since the time they opened in 1989 (twenty years ago). They also help build schools and dormitories for the students in the villages. The staff is made of volunteers and they collect donations from public for funding. Türkan Saylan, the founder of the association had created ASCL while trying to cure Lepra disease in small villages; where she noticed the families couldn’t fund their children enough to go to school. They have branches in many provinces of Turkey, but the heart of the association is in Istanbul. ASCL has managed to deal with this problem over the years and with enough, help they will solve it soon.
